*Happy Friday

On 8/3/2007, I sent the first "Happy Friday" email devotional.  When I sent it, I had no idea it would become a weekly thing.  I had just been discouraged for a couple of weeks and that morning during my Bible reading, God just really showed up for me.  As I re-read that Happy Friday, I recall how excited I was and I really wanted to share with someone, so I just went to the computer and typed an email.   I had just begun a listing of all the women's email addresses so I just decided to send it to everyone.   The following week, I was out of town and didn't write one, but did the next Friday, and haven't missed very many Friday's since then.  This is one of those God things.  I had never planned this, it just happened.  I enjoy writing my thoughts down, and have done that in journals for years....maybe the Lord just decided it would help me to share it with others.  It has.  Thanks to all of you for your encouraging words, your interest and for letting me share with you.
