This page is dedicated to the ministry of Pastor Jim Bernard. “Bro. Jim” as he was affectionately called by all those who knew him was promoted to HEAVEN on August 23, 2011. Bro. Jim faithfully and fervently preached the unsearchable riches of Christ for 32 plus years. At the time of his departure to GLORY, he was serving as the Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport, AL were he had ministered for over 20 years.

Bro. Jim was not only a Pastor to his people at First Baptist, but also a mentor to men of God. Many preachers ‘far and wide’ including my self have had our life and ministry enriched, encouraged, and edified by his friendship and wisdom.

His heart was larger than his frame!

It is with great joy that Precepts That Preach ministry can share with you some outlines from “MY BEST FRIEND IN THE MINISTRY”, Pastor Jim Bernard. Bro. Jim is resting from his labors…but his works still follows him! Enjoy feasting on the manna from the ‘heart’ of this great man of God.
