Church Library

 

 

If you enjoy reading or watching movies, our church library has an excellent selection of good clean Christian resources for your use. Some Audio books are also available as well as Christian comedy tapes and a great selection of the Gaither Homecoming tapes and other musical groups. We have many of the latest Christian movies on VHS and DVD. Our book sections include Fiction; Inspiration; Devotionals; Biography; Reference and Study Resources; Cults and Other Religions; Prayer; Prophecy and Jewish History; Health, Depression, and Personalities; Home, Marriage, and Parenting; and Bible Doctrine and General Biblical Principles.

 

Recently the library has been revamped to make it easier for you to locate your favorite authors or classes of books. Newly purchased books and a number of donated books have been catalogued and shelved. Some of the older and/or duplicate books have been pulled from the shelves and they are available to anyone who is interested in taking them. These books are in the foyer; browse through them and take any you want. Also, to make more room available for newer resources, a large portion of the older and/or duplicate Bible Study materials has been moved upstairs to Room 202A This room also houses all the Children’s Resources, as well as books for tweens and teens.

 

Donated Christian library materials are welcomed. Any books/other materials we find in the library, we will assume are for the library. (in other words, please don’t use the library as a storage area). If we discover we have multiples of the same book, we will possibly trade the multiples for other books (unless you let us know you would like the book back if it is a duplicate). 

 

Also, if you know of books, authors, or other resources we do not have that would be a good addition to our library, let Lillie Pearl Underwood or Judy Shavers know. Budgeted money will be spent accordingly. We want to provide a variety of resources, but we also want to be wise stewards and spend the money on resources that will be used.
